  • Addressless Multi Gifts. Your customer pays for the gifts up front. Once recipients claim and add their address, the real shipping and tax are charged in one Shopify checkout. Gifts nobody claims by the deadline are refunded on the original order. Set how many days recipients have to claim in your Multi Gift settings.

Improved

  • Setup guide. Required steps tick themselves when done, the Shopify Plus step can be skipped, and a Guide button reopens it any time.
  • Checkout widget on Shopify Plus. The Checkout widget card now shows only on Shopify Plus stores (and Plus development stores), since only Plus can use it.
  • Faster, more reliable orders. Giftnote answers Shopify instantly and processes orders straight after, so busy stores see fewer delays.
  • Storefront settings load faster.
  • Cleaner checkout. The "Delivered by Giftnote" line no longer appears under the button in checkout and order status.
  • Consistent wording. Every screen now says Giftnote the same way and uses US English.

Fixed

  • The Multi Gift button in your theme keeps your customer's cart when they arrive.
  • The recipients step names each shipping problem instead of showing only a refresh icon.
  • Email previews for after-delivery emails no longer show delivery options that don't apply.
  • Order risk checks only run on gift orders, so busy stores don't hit Shopify limits.
  • The checkout widget stays marked active while it's live.
  • Cancelling a Multi Gift no longer restocks inventory for recipient orders that never took stock.
  • Multi Gift recipient orders show as paid again, so ERP and accounting tools read them correctly.
  • Gift card orders auto-fulfill once a fulfillment hold is released, and only the gift card lines get fulfilled.
